The first day feels... well, a lot like a Sunday. I often skip shaving on Sundays. Of course, I gave it a last-minute shave before bed last night, so it's pretty much a normal 'afternoon stubble' right now.
Since there's not much to say about my facial hair today, I'll use today's post to promote my jazz trio's brand new CD which just hit the shelves this morning:
While I'm sure you're planning to donate some money to sponsor my beard to come, I hope you'll also consider spending some cash on my music as well, and perhaps rating the album on your favorite music retail website! It's already up on iTunes and Amazon MP3, but should be spreading to most other major web song sellers as the month proceeds.
Feedback:
As a fellow Clevelander with a musician for a wife, I was honor bound to listen to the online samples of your CD.
AWESOME. I will be purchasing one. And you need to put me on whatever list you have to be notified of gigs. I love to see live music, and the bands who play it.
And, as I owe my wife for putting up with the cleanshaven me, I must pass on her website to you. Cathy Miller's music can be found here.
Your wife is mighty talented! I see she's shared the stage with Ted Riser... the guy who lives a few houses down the street from me plays bass for him from time to time I think.
I'll let you know if we get any gigs. We haven't had enough gigs yet to warrant a list! We just update our Facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/melocotonmusic :)
